InfraMobility

Arjan Wiering (44) has been appointed Managing Director of Munckhof Groep BV. With this he takes over the daily management from Tom Roefs (58). Roefs will assume the position of vice-chairman at the Board of Directors of InfraMobility NV in Antwerp, the parent company of Munckhof and Hansea.

International cooperation

Munckhof was acquired by Belgium's Hansea in 2022. The interests of both organizations come together in the Belgian company InfraMobility. Since the takeover, the cooperation already made great strides in areas such as Finance and HR. For the next phase, some adjustments are needed in the leadership. That is why Tom Roefs has been appointed vice-chairman of the InfraMobility Board of Directors. Together with current chairman Bernard Gustin, he will be responsible for rolling out the InfraMobility strategy. Key focus areas are commerce, asset management, procurement and ESG.

In line with strategy

Final responsibility at Munckhof will be transferred to Arjan Wiering. Arjan Wiering has been COO at Munckhof since April 2023 and in that capacity responsible for all Passenger Transport activities. So now he makes the step to Managing Director. Tom Roefs says: “This development fits seamlessly into our strategy. I am enormously proud of today's Munckhof. I am convinced that Arjan, together with Finance Director Patrick Straetemans and the Senior Management Team, will further develop the organization. I myself will of course remain closely involved with Munckhof from my new role at InfraMobility!”
